John Thorp - Founder and Creative Director
John has worked as a professional musician in a wide variety of roles, from performing in musicals such as Jesus Christ Superstar and working with Anthony Minghella on his first stage production; to composition, conducting, recording work and teaching. He lives near Okehampton and has volunteered for eight years at Lydford Gorge.
Kerry Smith - Art Director and Lyricist
Kerry has a creative and artistic eye having started her career as a Picture Researcher for SHE Magazine in London. A deep pull brought her to the moor ten years ago, along with her beloved late spaniel. She has more recently discovered that her forebearers were Dartmoor Moormen going back almost 200 years. Her ancestors inspire her poetry, photography and passion for hiking high Dartmoor. Kerry's voice also features on several of the tracks.
Ann Thorp - Creator
Ann is the creative force behind Taryn Studios video production. As well as writing lyrics for songs, she crafts moving music along with beautiful sequential art. Ann has worked with several charities to create promotional video content. See an example of her amazing work here:
